Another decent junior match was fished by only 5 youngsters, but concidering the appalling conditions(heavy rain) it's a wonder any turned up at all. Anyway all 5 caught fish, but a beautiful 3 lb Tench together with some Roach & Skimmers gave junior bailiff George the edge, and he won the match with 4lb 8oz, 2nd place went to Elliott who weighed a all silver catch for 3lb 12oz.

Junior Match 18th August 2009
A very good turnout of 18 youngsters fished the lastest junior match on the Lawn Dam. The match was just 3 hours, and everyone caught fish. George James came out on top with a Tench and a few silver fish, just beating Josh Thorpe into 2nd place.
